Lillestrom-Valerenga Derby end in 1-1 tie

It was a rough start for Lillestrom as Valerenga went up 1-0 before 1 minute was on the clock.  After a lot of sloppy midfield work from the home side they settled in.  Lillestrom was then awarded a penalty kick and went up 1-1.  The second half was a physical one with lots of bodies crashing into one another.  Luke Rodgers was subbed into the match in the 71st minute and missed a good chance to go up 2-1 from a Sigurðsson pass in front of the goal. It was a tough volley because the ball was bouncing up however, he should have knocked it in.  Luke overall made some good runs and won some good balls but wasn’t able to get the go ahead goal.  It ended in a tie.
